Rainy Thursday

Salt Lake was a good trip. Good to be home, though. My Mom, bless her sweet soul, was about to shed some tears when she dropped me off at the airport to come home.

When I arrived in Salt Lake, Courtney picked me up from the airport, and first on the agenda was getting coffee at the Starbucks on 4th South. This Starbucks has sentimental value. Deep conversations have taken place there. Then, we went out for some drinks at Greene Street, a bar that I had always heard so much about and it was pretty fun.

On Monday me and my mom went thrift store hopping (an event filled with many "ooohs" and squeeling noises)and we ate lunch at The Noodle Company. Then, we went into my old job at the hospital to see my ol' work fam. It is a small office and everyone there really was like my family.

That night Courtney and I went to the Chevelle concert at In The Venue. It is kind of a small venue, but it was a good show. Courtney and I were total concert buddies when I lived in Salt Lake, so it was only appropriate to hit up a show.

Brad flew in Tuesday night. It was fun seeing the look of shock and excitement on his face that yes, there are actually breweries in Salt Lake City, and even a beer called Polygomy Porter. It was a fun couple of days...he met my friends and family and we saw Park City (home of the Sundance Film Festival).

Anyways, it was good times.

Today is going by slowly and I am hungry. I am eating Dried Roasted Edamame because it is all that I have at my desk. The edamame is good, but they threw something that looks like raisins but tastes like peppers in the bag with them. I don't know how I feel about that.

In better news, it is raining. And, you all know how I feel about the rain. :)
