So long Sugarhouse
Well, my favorite area of Salt Lake is now going to be corporatized.
Apparently, developers have given the stores on the 13th East block of the Sugarhouse area eviction notices. That means the independent music store, the hip coffee shop, the used clothing store, and more will be either closing or finding a new home.
The area has so much charactor, with its old buildings and unique shops, and for several years I have enjoyed walking around there, seeing people with their dogs, coffees, and skateboards.
It is a shame that people think that new, clone buildings are so desirable and forget that independent is so appreciated. So, I just enjoyed my last latte from Sugar House Coffee and took some photos.

Oh noes! That sounds horrible. I feel your pain Princess. I love my little hole in the wall/non-chain places. It's never good when they get destroyed by the Man.
DAMN YOU MAN! DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!
Sugar House Coffee? I cry, because I will never be able to get a Sugar House Latte with you.
